Halyards

Halyards require a low stretch construction to ensure optimal trim and long term performance. Typical halyards comprise standard braid on braid polyester (double braid) products or increasingly Dyneema® cores with a Polyester or Dyneema® / Tehnora® outer. 

Knotting Doublebraid can reduce Halyard Breakload by 80%

To retain the maximum breakload of your Halyard we recommend a spliced end over a knot.
