For decades HSGM has consistently produced the best Hot Knives on the market. The iconic green handset of the HSG-0 is a staple across the marine industry.

From pressing the trigger, the blade takes around 6 seconds to reach cutting temperature, producing a clean, consistent cut, preventing the fibres from unravelling. Please note that due to their exceptional heat resistance Aramid fibres such as Kevlar® & Technora® will not melt and seal like Polyester, Dyneema®or Spectra.

A hot knife is one of the simplest rope cutters available, providing a great base to add a whipping or heat shrink to keep ends together under active use. 

Spare "R Blades" are available under options.
