Clamcleat CL253 Multifunction Trapeze and Vang Cleat- 2:1 Purchase

The best method for adjusting trapeze lines on a dinghy. Additionally used for outhauls, small dinghy forestays, vangs, kicking straps and windsurfing outhaul/downhaul setups. The Clamcleat® CL253 provides a rapid, positive lock that is simple to release.

Included is the PTLINK a small plastic link that makes releasing the rope much easier when rigged as per the picture guide.

When used for trapeze adjustment the cleat should be regularly inspected. It's acceptable for the surface finish to wear or scratch. The cleat should be changed if the working or load-bearing parts show any signs of wear or damage.

We recommend using 5mm Excel GP78 as the adjuster line due to its high grip construction & easy splicing.
